This is a completely new hotel and is set in one of the city's grandest, listed buildings - a former bank premises at 100 King Street designed by Edwin Lutyens and referenced in Pevsner's Architectural Guide. The Art Deco building is set out over 7 floors and features carvings by local sculptor John Ashton Floyd, and was dubbed the 'King of King Street', due to its grandeur, size and castle-like design. The hotel has been fully refurbished as a luxury, 5-star hotel in the heart of Manchester's most upmarket shopping district. There are 60 bedrooms in the hotel, all individually designed to the highest standards. In addition to a superb range of rooms and suites the hotel features 5 exclusive suites called the “Inner Sanctum Suites” which are located in the core of the building. There is a restaurant, open to the public called Honey and a swanky private members roof-top bar and a club called "Brass" all with stunning views across the city.
We have secured preferential rates for St James's and reciprocal members and their guests at both hotels. These special rates are significantly lower than those available to non-members.
Staying at either hotel as a guest of our Club entitles you to VIP treatment, which may include room upgrades, complimentary wine and other privileges usually reserved for esteemed guests at these establishments.
Members may login to the members area to find out how to place a booking. Reciprocal members and guests should contact the Club office (0161 829 3000 or firstname.lastname@example.org) for booking information.
